We are thrilled to showcase our latest project – the transformative lighting installation on the A484 bridge in Llanelli. This project not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the bridge but also significantly contributes to the safety and functionality of this vital infrastructure.

Project Overview

Initiated in November 2021, the A484 bridge in Llanelli, a crucial link for both pedestrians and cyclists, recently underwent a major upgrade with our state-of-the-art lighting solutions. Collaborating with G D Harries, ASD Lighting, and United Industrial Services, we aimed to create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the safety of all bridge users.

Innovative Lighting Design

Our journey began with draft proposals by mid-2022, in partnership with ASD lighting. We focused on developing a lighting scheme that not only complements the bridge's architecture but is also energy-efficient and durable, designed to withstand the challenging Welsh weather. The addition of new street lighting along the pathway and a new bollard at the curved off-ramp further enhances the bridge's functionality.

The bridge, with materials sourced from L H Evans, South Wales' largest independent electrical wholesaler, now stands as a testament to modern design and community-focused engineering. As you walk or cycle across the bridge, you'll notice the difference – a safer, more inviting, and visually appealing experience, completed in November 2022.
